What’s up everybody ✊🏾✊🏾 !!!! I hope everybody is doing well and remaining safe out there as we continue to navigate through this awful pandemic. Hopefully conditions continue to improve and we can get back to some sort of normalcy . With that being said , LOS ANGELES , CALIFORNIA was next up on my travel list 📝 and it did not disappoint. This was my second time visiting the “City of Angels” but this time I really had the opportunity to enjoy myself.
Attractions and Things to do …
There are so many things to do in Los Angeles that you need more than a week to probably get around to them all . You have DisneyLand which is probably one of the more popular affections but I skipped that one since I’m going to Disney World next month. If you’re a sports guy like myself, you can catch a Dodgers or an Angels baseball game . LA is also home for the Lakers and the Clippers . Both teams play at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles . I spent a lot of time checking out the art through the city , mainly murals. I was interested to see the tributes to our fallen brother Kobe Bryant and Nipsey Hussle . Both of these gentlemen played such a big part in the culture of this fine city that I had to pay my respects . Kobe Bryant will go down as one of the NBA’s greatest players of all time and one of its brightest stars . I though that it was ironic that I was there to admire paintings of him during the same weekend that he was enshrined into the basketball Hall of Fame !!! Long Live Mamba 🐍
Nipsey Hussle 🏁 The Marathon Continues
For those of you who may not know who Nipsey was , he was the true definition of a hustler. Personally , what I admired most about him was his will and desire to invest in the same streets that he grew up in . Ermias Asghedom was born in raised in Los Angeles where he sold incense on the street corner to earn some money. His work ethic is what would propel him to be a Grammy award winning rap artist and a beloved figure in the community.
