So I haven’t been able to travel and I just accepted a new position at my job so I’m pretty busy these days . With that being said new content is hard to come by for the time being. So I’m going to do a spotlight on the special woman in my life . The woman who makes me smile. She’s my travel buddy, soulmate and hopefully soon to be my wife 🤞🏽 Ms. Tia Williams (applause 👏🏾)
When I tell y’all I have been blessed to travel the world with my best friend that’s exactly what it means. We have travels to 6 of the 7 continents together and I wouldn’t trade it for the world . We both love to travel , both have pretty decent careers and we are deeply in love . Honestly she was the person who inspired my blog and my dope travel jacket . That’s enough of the mushy love 💕 so I’ll just leave some of my fav pics of us together on our wonderful journey ! Until next time live, laugh, love, and travel ✌🏾✌🏾

As you all know we are still in the middle of a worldwide pandemic and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime 🔜. With that being said we are still playing it safe for now and traveling inside the U.S. until this virus 🦠 slows down.
HOUSTON, TEXAS
Houston, Texas sunset 🌇
What does H-town have to offer ??
Houston has some of the best food I’ve had in a longtime. I knew down south was good eating but Houston really is the best. If you’re a breakfast guy like myself , I highly recommend the Breakfast Klub . I tried the chicken and waffles and it was def 5-stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Later in the week we made it to the Turkey Leg Hut. We waited in line for close to what had to be 2 hours . Once I bit in to that turkey leg I knew immediately the wait was well worth it !! I ordered the Alfredo shrimp stuffed turkey leg. This turkey leg was complete jumbo grilled shrimp 🍤 , Cajun Alfredo sauce, on top of a bed of rice ! Absolutely amazing , and you can get numerous drink to wash it all down . I would recommend the Don Julio 1942 frozen tequilas . 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Turkey leg hut is absolutely amazing !! This is a must visit if you’re in the city.
Whatshould I do when I visitHouston ?!?!
One thing that I highly recommend is making the short drive (less than a hour) over to Galveston, Texas and enjoy the beach. You can visit the Galveston Island Pleasure Pier or you can catch some waves like I did . The water was a bit rough due to the hurricane that was moving through the water at the time . That only made it more exciting for me 🤪🤪🤪
Watch me come flying by 🤣😂🤣🤣🤣Somebody been lifting 🤘🏾💪🏾
If you like to shop then the Galleria Mall is the sport for you ! Every store you can possibly think of is there. All of the high end stores like Gucci, Prada, and Burberry. This cool mall even has a skating rink right in the middle of the mall !!!

Houston Night life is Amazing !!!
We visited clubs , bars , and Halo . Halo was definitely a good time I’d you’re into strip clubs with beautiful women . But I’m more of a laid back and chill kind of guy and that’s why prospect park was my favorite spot. They have frozen drinks and some pretty good food. Combine that with a mature crowd , hookah, and Djs playing the best music out you are going to have a good time !!! Ghost and Spire were decent clubs but next time I’m going to the Address, I hear that’s the spot to be . Overall Houston is pretty dope. i love the strong black culture in the city and the black owned businesses. We need more vibrant and happening city’s for our culture like H-town . I’ll leave more pics s videos highlighting the trip below for you guys. Until next time live, laugh, love, and travel !!!!! 😉😉
Prospect park frozen drinks come in this neat cup !!!! The view as we landed 🛬 Galveston Bridge 🌉 I was repping H-town all weekend 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Sometimes I look at my photos in disbelief ! God has really blessed me to visit so many wonderful places and experiences. What are you thankful for today ?
Yooooooooooooooo good afternoon world 🌍!!!!! Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe out there . Today we are back with part two of this series . Just trying to give you guys some ideas on where to travel inside the U.S.A during this pandemic . Hopefully 🙏🏾 other countries will open their borders to US citizens soon so i can get back to my bucket list 🤞🏽.
Las Vega International Airport
This was my second time visiting “Sin City” , celebrating my lovely girlfriends birthday 🥳!!! I will admit the trip didn’t go as expected due to the crazy weather while we were there but more on that later.
The Venetian Hotel 🏨
Our flight arrived in fabulous Las Vegas at I believe at 9 a.m. . We caught a cab 🚕 straight to our hotel at the Venetian. If you’re ever looking for a great hotel with great service and early check-in options this is the spot for you . The Venetian is a beautiful hotel and the casino 🎰 was amazing . They even have great food options all over the resort so you don’t have to leave if you just want to relax.
As I mentioned at the beginning of the blog the weather in Vegas was tricky . The windy was extremely strong with gusts from 20-30 mph and cool air. Completely canceling all plans I had at Lake Las Vegas , which is a lake with plenty of water activities. So the only thing we could do was shop . We visited the Las Vegas Premium Outlet malls , north and south. After that it was back to the hotel for drinks a gambling.
One activity we did get to experience was the Madame Tussauds Las Vegas. Madani Tussauds is a wax museum located on the Las Vegas strip inside the Venetian . You can see some of your favorite Hollywood stars ⭐️ made out of wax !!!! U will think it’s really them .
2020 has been the year of the unexpected !!!! Dealing with COVID-19 has been at the top of the list, claiming the lives of thousands and affecting the way we travel and where we travel for the foreseeable future. With very limited travel options outside of the country it’s a good time to see what the U.S. has to offer. Here are a few travels ideas if you are looking to getaway soon. Mask up at all times, keep your hands clean, and social distance when possible. We have been blessed to follow these guidelines and remain healthy during our traveling. Have fun and stay safe ! 🙏🏾✌🏾
Gatlinburg, Tennessee
In August we took a road trip with friends to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This was my third time visiting , but it is a lot of fun every time I have been. We stayed in a 5- bedroom cabin that had a jacuzzi, pool table, and plenty of room for the festivities. The first day we arrived we spent more time settling in than actually exploring the city. It was kind of hard maneuvering throughout the small city as they were hosting their annual “Jeep Invasion”. People from all over the world bring their Jeeps that weekend to show them off and admire others. During the next few days there would be plenty of time for drinks , laughs and memories. We shopped , rented atv’s , zip-lined, and did some wine 🍷 tasting amongst other things. Gatlinburg is always a good time and offers great views from the mountain. Oh and if you’re lucky you will see some black bears.
Black bears are lurking so be careful and keep your 👀 open !!!
The Arc de Triomphe is perhaps the most iconic of all French monuments, and without a doubt one of the most triumphal. Built between 1806 and 1836, it’s iconic in style and sculpture to the decoration popular at the first half of the nineteenth century and visitors can admire its delicate design and engravings. Instantly recognisable and deeply evocative of the military history of France, the Arc de Triomphe provides a glimpse into France’s social past as well as spectacular views across central Paris.
Las Olas Boulevard At night , the “Venice of America” comes to life !
Ft. Lauderdale , Florida was a pleasant surprise last week! In the past I had spent time in Miami , Orlando , and Tampa Bay and had a great time in all 3 cities. If you want a combination of all three cities then Ft. Lauderdale is the spot for you . The “Venice of America” is known for its beaches , art , and cultures . As expected , a lot of venues were closed due to COVID-19 but we still had an amazing time . My favorite part of course was some of their fine cuisine !! Below I will highlight some of my favorite spots to get some good food in this amazing city 🌃.
I celebrated my 35th birthday at Chima Brazilian Steakhouse 🔥🔥
If you’re a steak lover like I am then I highly suggest trying this place . They have drinks and cocktails 🍸 that are good . A full salad bar with some tasty appetizers before the main meal arrives . This Brazilian steakhouse offers some of the best meat your money can buy. The list includes : sirloin , beef and spare ribs . Flank steak 🥩, pork loins , salmon , filet mignon, ribeye , top sirloin , and ribeye amongst several other premium meats. If you don’t mind spending a little cash 💰 then this is the place for you !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Rock Bar
If you’re looking for a fun spot to hang out along the strip check out “Rock Bar”. The food was fantastic while a live DJ plays some of the top music in all genres .
411 South Bar and Grill Breakfast wasn’t too bad on the beach 🤤 I could really get used to breakfast on the beach every morning !!! The fishbowl
These were some of the places we enjoyed near our hotel. I’m sure there are many other restaurants but these are the ones that were open at the time of this pandemic . Thanks for reading ! ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽
I’m spending the week in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida this week celebrating my birthday. Initially, I was disappointed that more countries around the world are not open for tourism. That was the wrong mentality to have and I am thankful to be able to be alive first and foremost . Secondly being healthy and COVID-19 free is another blessing . I also found out how wonderful Ft. Lauderdale is , this city is AMAZING !!!!! I cannot wait to tell all of you about it , stay tuned!
